About this tool

Enter a future date and time, click Start Countdown, and the display shows how much time remains broken down into days, hours, minutes, and seconds. It updates every second.

When the target time arrives, the display shows a message instead of the countdown grid.

How to use it

Optionally enter an event name to label the countdown.
Set the target date and time.
Click Start Countdown.

FAQ

What timezone does it use?: Your local browser timezone. The date/time input uses your device's local time.
Does it save the countdown?: No. Closing or refreshing the page clears the setting. Bookmark the page with the date pre-filled if you need it to persist — or just re-enter the date each time.
