Egg cooking times

Timings assume eggs are placed into boiling water from room temperature. Results will vary slightly by egg size and stove.

• 3 minutes: Soft-boiled, runny yolk
• 4 minutes: Soft-boiled, semi-liquid yolk
• 6 minutes: Medium — yolk just set, still slightly soft in center
• 8 minutes: Medium-hard, yolk mostly firm
• 10 minutes: Hard-boiled, fully cooked yolk

How to use it

1. Click a preset or enter a custom duration.
2. Start the timer when you put food in the pot or oven.
3. The timer beeps when time is up.
